GETTING TO "SIAM PALM" HOTEL
From Phuket International Airport (From ONLY 620 Baht):
|
|
All international and Domestic Flights arrive at Phuket International Airport.
OUR TAXI and MINIBUS SERVICE:
We're please to provide our taxi to meet you and we offer the choice of
TWO AIRPORT TRANSFER ROUTES for you to choose from. Our price is CHEAPER than the "Airport Taxis" and "Local" taxis who are now charging 650 Baht for the 40 minute journey
For three, or more, guests we can also supply our minibus for ONLY 1,100 Baht (per Minibus).
Our CHEAPER CHOICES are:
TAXI ROUTE "A" (620 BAHT per taxi):
This is the standard route down the middle of the island to Patong Beach, and is the quickest, taking about 40 minutes.
TAXI ROUTE "B" (670 BAHT per taxi):
This is the scenic route that brings you here via 5 beautiful beaches, and takes slightly longer at approximately 55 minutes. It leaves the standard route and heads for the west coast to give you your first view of the various beaches along the coast road to Patong. You'll drive to Surin Beach and then on to Laem Sing and Kamala beaches where you'll pass the famous "Fantasea" show with its many elephants. Then it's on to Nakalay and Kalim beaches before driving along the
bay that sweeps down in to Patong Beach and the "SIAM PALM" Hotel. It's a great way to start your holiday in Phuket.
MINIBUS TRANSFER ROUTE "X" (1,100 Baht per minibus):
The same as standard "Taxi Route A".
MINIBUS TRANSFER ROUTE "Y" (1,250 Baht per minibus):
Takes the same scenic beach route as "Taxi Route B".

Airport Taxis:
|
|
If you take an Airport Taxi their desks are in the Exit Hall of the Airport. They can organize a taxi (current cost around 580 Baht) or a seat on a minibus (around 160 Baht per person) to bring you to Siam Palm Hotel.
|
|
Airport Minibus:
|
|
The minibus runs approximately every 30 minutes and depending on which route it takes to drop off other passengers at their various hotels it can take between 60 - 90 minutes.

WARNING About "Airport Taxis" and "Airport Minibus Service ": Many taxi drivers are harassing their passengers during the trip from the Airport and trying to get them to change their Booked Hotel to one which the driver recommends (and where he gets a commission). They will pretend they don't know where "SIAM PALM" Hotel is even though they've been instructed where to go by their Airport counter, plus they have mobile phones to
contact their Company to get more precise directions. They can ALSO use their mobile phone to CONTACT OUR RECEPTION at 076 345679 to get clear instructions on how to get you here with the minimum of fuss. There 's no excuse for them not to bring you here.
They will also try to get their passengers to go to various shops and establishments to buy things where the driver will also get a commission. This isn't the way you want to start your holiday.
Important: When we confirm your room booking then the room is definitely reserved, and held, for you. We suggest you use our CHEAPER Airport Transfer Taxi Service as it will stop you being pestered by greedy taxi drivers, plus our drivers will give you a nice relaxing ride to our Hotel to start your holiday with us....and SAVE YOU MONEY!
If you are going to use an "Airport Taxi" or "Local Taxi" to reach our hotel then please TAKE A COPY OF OUR LOCATION MAP and ADDRESS from this web site as it has the hotel's address, and a map, in Thai which the driver can read.
Regarding the Airport Minibus Service, there have also been many complaints that this service which is linked to a Travel Agency, often stops at the operators Travel Agency en-route. Their staff then try to pressurise passengers into booking tours and changing hotels to those where the Travel Agency gets a commission. There have been written complaints from tourists to local newspapers to this effect with some complaining of delays of up to 2 hours before being
allowed to continue their journey to their booked hotel. Be warned.
